Lifting Equipment Planning Resources

Organize the task, site measurements and available files before a product or quotation discussion.

Enquiry preparation checklist

Put the task, measurements and photographs in one brief

Use this checklist to organize information for an equipment discussion. Keep the information you already have and identify the items still to be measured or reviewed.

Looking for conformity documents? View the document library for the original files and their listed model scope.

  1. Start a site brief

Write a short description of what needs to move or be reached. Add the product family if known, the site location and destination, and any timing or quantity information already available.

  2. Label your measurements

On a sketch, mark the start and end points of each measurement and its unit. Keep requested platform dimensions, overall equipment space, openings and access-route clearances as separate entries. Mark estimated or missing measurements clearly.

  3. Describe the load and sequence

Record what is being carried, including people, tools, cargo or handling equipment as relevant. Describe how the task starts, where movement takes place and how the load or personnel leave the working area.

  4. Show the surrounding area

Add photographs of the approach, work or installation space and any opening or transfer point. A wide view and a labelled sketch help explain relationships that a close-up alone may miss.

  5. List the open questions

Separate what you know from what still needs discussion. Include power, ground conditions, loading or unloading arrangements and any site restriction. Use the relevant family page for additional product-specific questions.

Sending the information

Choose a clear, readable file

The full quotation form accepts up to three PDF, JPG or PNG files, up to 10 MB each. Add the project description in the form so the question is clear without opening the attachment. CAD files, executable files and encrypted PDFs are not accepted.

Keep dimensions and units readable. Include the product reference and the part of the site shown in the image or drawing. Avoid including unrelated personal or confidential information in a project attachment.
