Equipment group

Choose a Freight & Material Handling Family

Draw the starting point, destination and transfer sequence. This group brings together Guide Rail Freight Lifts and Fixed Scissor Lift Tables; their family pages explain the information needed for each equipment discussion.

Compare the task

Follow the goods from loading to unloading

  1. A route between levels or a transfer position?

List every served level, stop position and loading or unloading point. Describe whether the request concerns a vertical freight route, a workstation height or an interface with another handling step.

  2. Cargo and handling method

Provide the load, largest cargo footprint and any pallet, trolley or other handling equipment involved. Show the entrance direction and the space needed to approach and leave each transfer point.

  3. Platform request and building space

Keep requested platform length and width separate from the space available for equipment, supports, openings and surrounding clearance. Add a drawing with the measurement reference points, including any pit or overhead restriction.

  4. Controls and site coordination

Describe the operating sequence, requested controls, enclosure or gate requirements and available electrical supply. Record which site interfaces need further discussion rather than assuming they are included in a configuration.
