Choose a Dock & Loading Equipment Family

Begin with the vehicle position, transfer heights and goods route. Review Hydraulic Dock Levelers, Mobile Yard Ramps or Loading & Unloading Platforms with the same measured site information.

Compare the task

Map the interface between the vehicle and the site

  1. A dock opening, yard route or loading area?

Show where the vehicle stands, where goods begin and finish, and how handling equipment follows the route. Identify an existing dock opening, a yard approach or a proposed platform area before comparing the family pages.

  2. Heights across the vehicle range

Record dock height and the vehicle-bed heights encountered in the operation. Keep height differences and measurement reference points explicit; avoid assuming that a single vehicle measurement represents the full traffic pattern.

  3. Goods, load and handling traffic

Describe the goods, handling equipment, required load, direction of travel and expected loading sequence. These inputs belong together; a model-code suffix is not a substitute for a confirmed capacity field.

  4. Installation, movement and storage

Provide pit or opening dimensions where relevant, available approach space, ground conditions, power and drainage context. For equipment that must be moved or stored, add the proposed route and storage area to the site sketch.
